Candy Michelle Vigneri gave birth to a baby girl in a portable toilet on the east side of Long Wharf Park and after giving birth she left the baby in the toilet. Not too long after, a passerbyer made an amazing discovery and called 911. Both the child and the Candy were taken to Easton Memorial Hospital, only five minutes away, for treatment.
The baby girl, thankfully, is in stable condition and soon will be released to the custody of Social Services- Vigneri, on the other hand was released from the hospital and immediately arrested and charged with first and second degree child abuse and reckless endangerment.
