INSTITUTE FOR DEVELOPMENT AND RESEARCH IN BANKING TECHNOLOGY (IDRBT)

During the first phase of reforms in the Indian Financial Sector, a need was felt to develop an Institute of Higher Learning, which would also provide the operational service support in Information Technology to Banks and Financial Institutions.

The foundation for induction of Computer Technology in the Indian Banking Sector was laid by Dr. Rangarajan Committee's two reports in the years 1984 and 1989. Both the reports strongly recommended computerisation of banking operations at various levels while suggesting the appropriate architecture.

In the year 1993, the Employees' Unions of Banks signed an agreement with Bank Managements under the auspices of Indian Banks' Association [IBA]. This agreement was a major breakthrough in the introduction of computerised applications and development of communication networks in Banks.

Consolidated Compensation on the lines of the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, during the period of Contract. Compensation shall not be a constraint for the right candidate. Further, if offered a regular position after a year, based on the performance review by the Institute, the Scale of Pay (likely to be revised on the lines of IITs) shall be as under:

PROFESSOR - Rs.18400-500-22400

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR – Rs.16400-450-20000

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR – Rs.12000-420-18300

Former Figure Skating champion, Nicole Bobek, was recently arrested on drug charges because Nicole is suspected of being a significant role in a drug ring.

Nicole Bobek, 31 yrs. old, was not arrested for possessing prohibited drugs but instead they believe that she is part of a drug ring operation. Nicole Bobek made her first court appearance this Monday via video from the Hudson County Jail.

Nicole Bobek, charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine in Hudson County, northern New Jersery. Nicole Bobek was a former US figure skating champion and World Figure Skating Championship bronze medalist. Nicole attended 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics.

Nicole Bobek was arrested in Florida one week ago, then extradited to New Jersery and taken in custody at the Hudson County jail. During her first court appearance on Monday morning via video, Nicole Bobek was accused of playing “a significant role’ in a drug ring previously operating in Hudson County.
